You should really exfoliate before cleansing, but you don't need to do it as regularly as cleansing and moisturising, which is why we've included it as our third and final step.
Try to exfoliate once a week to remove the dirt and oil that has built up in your pores. Be mindful that some exfoliators can be harsh on the skin and strip it of its natural oils due to the chemicals that they contain, so look for ones featuring ingredients that are naturally abrasive instead. It's essential to always moisturise after exfoliating, even when using one with natural ingredients.
