It's only two days until Christmas - happy Christmas Eve eve - which means big and little kids are sure to be getting very excited now. While the countdown to December 25th is always fun, it can also get a little bit stressful.
If you're the one who does most of the organising in your house, you may be about ready to pull your hair out at the amount of things you still need to do. Luckily, we're here to help with a handy checklist of all your pre-Christmas tasks - don't forget to check it twice!
All the food at the ready
Now is the time to double check you have everything you need in the kitchen for the Christmas dinner. There's nothing worse than discovering you've forgotten the brussels sprouts just before the shops the close on Christmas Eve so get any extra shopping out of the way now.
Every present wrapped and ready to go
If you've got little ones who will be up at the crack of dawn, the last thing you want to do is be up until 3am wrapping the last of the presents. Getting them done today means you can simply pop everything under the tree and get an early night ready for the excitement of the next day.
Plus, it means you have time to grab anything extra if you've forgotten someone.
Each decoration in its place
You definitely want to finish any decorating today before it's too late, so spend a few minutes checking everything is where you want it and that the nativity scene your mother-in-law bought you is out of the box. You want to be totally happy with the way your house looks at Christmas, especially if you're hosting the family.
There may be a lot of things you need to do, but this doesn't mean you can't put your feet up for a few minutes. Why not make a hot drink, pop on a Christmas film, light an Orange Spice candle and take a breather? This will set you up ready for the madness of the next few days and ensure you can enjoy them a lot more.
