12 months of H&W: What we achieved in 2015

We achieved some great things in 2015

We're well into 2016 now and getting excited about all the plans we have for the next year. However, we thought we'd have a look back to see what we managed to achieve in 2015, as it was such a good year.

A lot of exciting things happened last year, from new fragrances to exciting partnerships, which have helped us make plans for 2016. So what are our highlights from the previous 12 months? Here are just a few:

Cherry Blossom and Sandalwood and Oud

Our first two new fragrances of 2015 were released just in time for spring and became instantly popular. Both quite different to each other, Cherry Blossom and Sandalwood and Oud were the perfect additions to our Classic range.

Cherry Blossom offers a sweet and floral scent with warm amber and hints of vanilla that is perfect for making your home smell like spring. In comparison, Sandalwood and Oud is a stronger fragrance that is layered with beautiful woody scents and rose notes.

You can find out more about each of these fragrances here.

Celebrity chats

Last year, we were lucky enough to get to chat to a few celebrities for our blog. Not only was everyone super friendly, they also gave us a lot of information to write up for our interviews. On top of this, they all love Heyland and Whittle products!

We got to speak to Pauline Quirke, Phyllis Logan and Stephen Lord, all of whom we are big fans of!

Heyland of Waterloo

June marked the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, which we recognised with the release of our commemorative soap book

The Heyland family actually had some involvement in the battle as Major Arthur Rowley Heyland - a relative of our very own Paddy Heyland - fought and died in the battle.

The family went over to France for the commemorative ceremony and to visit Major Heyland's grave. You can find out more about our connection to the Battle of Waterloo here

2015 was a great year for Heyland & Whittle

Seasalt Cornwall

In October, we announced our exciting collaboration with Seasalt Cornwall. We created three different fragrances that were inspired by the Cornish coast to be teamed with Seasalt's packaging designs.

Joining forces with the fashion and homeware brand - which is also a UK company - was really exciting and we love what we came up with together! You can now take a little piece of Cornwall home with you in the form of candles, reed diffusers, soaps and luxury bath melts.

From the floral scent of Rose to fresh Lemon Verbena and beautiful Sea Breeze, the Seasalt range has been incredibly popular and we are very proud of it! Find out more about the collaboration here.

Clementine and Prosecco

2015 was also the year we released our new Clementine and Prosecco fragrance, which became a best seller in no time at all!

The addition to our Home range has proved to be a huge success, so much so that we have already branched out and made an Organic Soap Bar in the same scent. The fresh, sparkling fragrance was released in October and was a big hit with everyone - especially as we headed into Christmas.

It looks like this is going to remain as one of our most popular fragrances, so why not find out more about it here?
