Getting the most out of our bath melts

Getting the most out of our bath melts

There's nothing better than being able to soak in a nice warm bath when the weather outside is cold, wet and miserable. If you're lucky, you might also be able to enjoy some candles and even a cheeky glass of wine while you relax and unwind.

Things couldn't get much more perfect than that, right? Actually, you can make you bath a little bit more interesting and a lot more beneficial for your skin by popping one of our stunning bath melts into your tub.

Our hand-rolled bath melts are the perfect combination of calming floral fragrance and shea butter, producing a bath that is lightly scented, as well as water that is super soft. Not only will these help your worries drift away as you enjoy your soak, but your skin will also feel wonderfully moisturised for days afterwards.

To get the best results, though, you need to use your bath melts in the right way. Here's how to get the most out of them.

Hot running water

Our bath melts aren't like bath bombs, so they aren't going to fizz and disappear in a couple of minutes. They are made out of shea butter and so will melt gradually in the warm water of your bath.

This means it is a good idea to pop one into the tub while the water is running, as this will allow it to melt by the time you step in for your soak. As they melt, they also release a small flurry of flower petals, which adds to the luxury element of your bath.

Use one at a time

You might be tempted to use more than one melt, but you don't need to in order to enjoy a super soft, beautifully fragrant and lovely luxury bath.

Each melt has the perfect amount of oil and scent for standard-sized baths, so unless you're lucky enough to have a giant tub, you'll be fine with just one.

Pat yourself dry

The oil from the melts will lightly coat your skin and continue to sink in and moisturise it after your bath. This means you don't want to wipe it away while drying off after your soak.

Use a clean towel to pat yourself dry, allowing the oil to stay on your skin and leave it feel amazing. You can even rub it in slightly rather than using a body lotion.

Find the right bath for you

As well as luxury bath melts, we also have a collection of liquid foam bath in some of our most popular classic fragrances. These also create a lovely fragranced bath, as well as moisturise your skin - although not to the same level as the melts - and create clouds of fluffy white bubbles.

We also have two lovely bath and massage oils, which you can add to your water or use directly on your skin.

You may also want to try creating a cocktail by mixing two products together for the ultimate luxurious soak.
