3 reasons Hampton Court Palace is the place to spot celebrities

If you're a fan of celebrity spotting and find it hard to keep your nose out of the gossip columns, then you definitely need to head to Hampton Court Palace this summer.

As well as being a beautiful castle with gorgeous grounds, it is also a favourite haunt among the celeb elite.

Whether you want to learn about the history of the palace or enjoy the summer sunshine out in the lush gardens, you should make sure you have your autograph book at the ready when visiting Hampton Court Palace.

Here are the top three reasons why it has become the place to be for celebrities in recent months:

A royal connection

It goes without saying that Hampton Court Palace has got a link to royalty. It has a long history and has seen many kings and queens make it their home over the years.

While no one from the monarchy lives there full time now, it hasn't given up on its royal roots completely.

Last month (May 2016) saw The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge open the Magic Garden in the grounds of the palace. The pair showcased the stunning play area that is suitable for children aged between two and 13, which has now become a popular haunt for celebrity parents.

RHS Flower Show

As if Hampton Court Palace didn't have stunning gardens anyway, July will see it become home to the largest flower show in the world. This is the perfect way to spend a day whether you love your garden or just want to see if any celebrities are hanging out in the Pimms tent.

There are always hundreds of celebs at the flower show, with star-studded talks and exhibitions, as well as a lot of media coverage. This means the show is the perfect opportunity to meet some famous people and even get talking to them about plants!

You never know, you might become a celeb yourself if you happen to be wandering around in sight of the television cameras.

If you want an opportunity to head to the Flower Show, enter Heyland and Whittle's latest competition, which could see you walking away with two full-day tickets for Saturday, July 9th and two Medium Hampers full of all sorts of H&W goodies. That's a £375 prize bundle!

Live gigs

You can be assured of spotting a celeb or two if you head to any one of Hampton Court Palace's outdoor concerts. These feature stars on the stage and in the crowds, with the concerts being popular options for days and nights out.

Enjoy the gorgeous grounds and a great atmosphere while listening to some music - including Tom Jones, Jools Holland and Van Morrison - and seeing if any of your favourite celebrities are doing the same.

You'll never experience anything like it, whether or not you manage to get an autograph or a star selfie.
